This is a time so critical in the life of students who are waiting to be admitted into various courses of their chosen institution and while some institutions have already started rolling out their admission lists, others are still to find their way around theirs. They might still be indecisive on those who should be granted admission and/or their carrying capacity.

As regards to institution carrying capacity, Authorities of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State, say that they can only admit 3, 800 out of the 17,334 candidates that applied to study in the institution for the 20167/2017 academic session.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Oluyemisi Eromosele, stated this during the pre-screening admission exercise conducted by the university for its prospective students.

Eromosele, who is the Chief Coordinating Officer for the exercise, noted that the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry candidates would be offered admission to the 10 colleges in the university.

It will really be a survival of the fittest as over 13,000 candidates who applied for admission in the institution will be made to try again next year or settle for an alternative, if they have one.

We wish the worthy 3,800 students all the best and congratulate them equally.
