Authority of the Abia State University (ABSU) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its undergraduate programmes including the newly approved Faculty of Engineering, for the 2016/2017 academic session.

The New Courses are:

FACULTY OF ENGINEERING AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS.
1 Mechanical Engineering, B. Eng.
DURATION: 5 Years

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: UTME: Credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Physics and Chemistry and any other from Further Mathematics and Technical Drawing, or ND in relevant area.

2 Electrical/Electronic Engineering, B.Eng.
DURATION: 5 Years

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: UTME: Credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Physics and Chemistry and any other from Further Mathematics and Technical Drawing, or ND in relevant area.

3 Computer Engineering, B.Eng.
DURATION: 5 Years

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: UTME: Credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Physics and Chemistry and any other from Further Mathematics and Technical Drawing, or ND in relevant area.

4 Information and Communication Technology, B.Eng.
DURATION: 5 Years

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: UTME: Credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Physics and Chemistry and any other from Further Mathematics and Technical Drawing, or ND in relevant area.

5 Surveying and Geo-Informatics, B.Sc.
DURATION: 5 Years

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: UTME: Credit passes in at least five subjects in not more than two sittings; which should include Mathematics, English Language, Physics.
