In the final days of the previous week, a certain picture went viral on the Internet. A certain 300L UNILORIN student, Jephtah or something like that, wrote an official letter to the university management informing them of his decision TO WITHDRAW FROM THE INSTITUTION! After initially speaking in some kind of proverbial tone (made me almost think he was only trying to preach), he cited a reason, that I'm all too familiar with, for his decision. He apparently got his SSCE credentials from a "Miracle Centre", and now he's become (re)born again, and he's decided to withdraw from 300L and start all over again.
Starting all over again is only so easy though, and I just hope he took the decision thoughtfully enough. But should he even have at all?
Really, there's a lot of perspectives on this.
While so many have railed and mocked his foolishness, many have hailed his brave decision. Many see his decision as a bigoted overreaction, many see it as a brave step of great faith.
Bravo or Boo, what say ye?
